The "BIOLUMINESCENT" variant is almost identical to the "ICE" variant, with the addition that it absorbs energy from sunlight or UV light and emits a glow that fades over time.

The Spinal Hair Clip (SHC) is a sculptural hair clip inspired by the human spine This variant is made with soft impact resistant material and stainless steel.

The body is thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) 95A, a soft yet exceptionally tough material used in phone cases and boot soles as it is known for its impact resistance and flexibility. Due to the softer nature of the hair clip, it is recommended for those with shorter hair and/or to secure your hair with the included tie before wearing the clip for optimal hold and comfort. 

If you take a closer look, there are four springs in this hair clip supporting a unique dual axis-mechanism. This system allows the lateral wings to articulate independently and distribute pressure evenly through your hair while keeping the core spinous processes unobstructed. The clip operates intuitively via a finger groove sculpted into the 4th vertebra, retaining the ergonomics of a standard hair clip despite its complex geometry.
